RUST&RUIN // VINTAGE REPAIRS
MOVING ON TO ANOTHER GARAGE
Here are some of the Rust and Ruin projects that have found new garages to live in.

82' Mobylette
Smooth as silk at low or high speeds and with the original leg shields you barely even notice ay airflow.
Rust & Ruin slavaged a grease ladle and repurposed it as a headlight grill. You'll have a hankering for fries everytime you rol with us.

To protect and serve

To protect and serve
Honda // Elite
Dolph is the scooter designed for the RoboCop movies. Angularly streamlined and ready for anything....as long as the cracks in the road arent too large.

The White Falcon

started off dropped

The White Falcon
64' Single Cab
The Rust and Ruin Shop Truck has moved on to a personal collection. A soild truck that was sold in 1964 on the West Coast and made it's way east over the years. Original paint with the sweetest "weepy" rust markings. It was put back to its original ride height and given a rebuilt engine that gave it great power. Back in service for antother 25 years.

77' Batavus // HS50
This customer bike is so original that we barely needed to replace anyting to get it up and running like it was just rolled out of the showroom. New seals all around, tubes and tires, and a bit of needed mainience and this time capsule is ready to enjoy.

74' Honda // CB200
This is a 1974 Honda CB200 (Honda Model # 354). The Dollar Dog is all original and all Awesome Vintage Motorcycle. The only addition is the 175 scrambler pipe.
It has a chain driven single overhead camshaft parallel twin engine with dual carburetors and five speed gearbox. Plus the uber cool rubber trim down the middle of the fuel tank.

48' Cushman
1948 Cushman stepthrough. Mostly original with a bit of mud and respray, but all in all a nice survivor built in Nebraska the 40's.
The vents (or lack there of) were somewhat of a mystery....looks as though it was "factory made", but we have never seen another like it.
If you have info about it let us know.

Running strong on a lengthy ride
65' Honda // C92
This is a 1965 Honda Benly aka The Baby Dream. Original white paint and red leatherette seat. The coolest part about this vintage motorcycle is that it was sold at Honda in Cleveland on Lorain Rd and the dealer sticker is still on the battery cover.
We were sad to see this one go, but the new owner had restoration plans and seemed to be in good hands.

The Beast lives!

Barn Find - Buried under years of dirt and dust

The Beast lives!
74' Honda // Elsinore
This is a 1974 Honda Elsinore MT250. The simple two stroke that became a legend. Good enough for Steve McQueen to ride....Good enough for Rust and Ruin.

72' Honda // C70
This is a 1972 Honda Poppy Yellow Metallic Super Cub C70 with a 3-speed automatic clutch. Claimed to be the most produced motor vehicle in history, yet how often do you see one of these on the road? (or anywhere)
This bike is quick! Don't let its ugly duckling appearance fool you. Fast and Fun.

67' Gilera // 106 SS
This is a 1967 Sears Gilera 106 Super Sport. From the 50's through the 60's you could order this 106cc beast from a Sears Roebuck catalog and have it delivered to your door. Italian engineering with brute elegance.
Off to Michigan.

58' Vespa
This is a 1958 Vespa Grigio Beige. This scooter is what its kid brother Allstate wishes it was. Restored to its original condition, this little wasp is beautiful. Piaggio would be proud. After many fun miles, Rust and Ruin is sad to see this little scoot go.

Grimace stopped by to see how the progress was coming along.

Grimace stopped by to see how the progress was coming along.
72' Honda // CB350
This is a 1972 Honda CB350 that we call Grimace. We found this sorry sack outside being subjected to the elements. So Rust and Ruin found it in our hearts to take this little scrapper in and give it a good home.
We sourced all the parts to put the purple beast back together, but someone else was interested in him "as is" so everything got packed up and sent off to a new garage.

78' Vespa Bravo
This is a 1978 Vespa Bravo - 49cc moped. Vespa made three versions of their mopeds
20mph/25mph/30mph models.
This started life as a 20mph model but with several mods such as upgraded/jetted carb/ larger exhaust she now exceeds her big
brothers 30mph cap. Many plans for this moped, such as new/custom long seat, and
dropped handlebars.
All day runner.

Some homeless squirrel was squatting on the engine

74' Honda // CL360
We went and picked up Sanchez in the White Falcon on a blustery November day. He is a neglected beast that just needs alittle maintenance to run like the dirty prick he is.
He turned out to be more of a prick than he looked like. We got him running, but never could get him reliable.

58' Vespa
Got this 1958 Vespa back to the Rust and Ruin Shop on a Sunday afternoon, had it running by the evening and found a buyer on the following Wednesday. Sadly we didn't even have it long enough to enjoy!

71' VW Bus
Flew to Albuquerque, New Mexico to pick up this 1971 Bus with original Camper interior (affectionately named Rosie) and drove it 1700+ miles back to the Rust and Ruin shop in Cleveland.
